Clubhouse and Bar usage - updated 27 August

Attendance at the Club

Please continue to avoid attendance at the Club if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or have been told to isolate.

We will continue to provide extensive availability of sanitiser and request it is used on entry to the Clubhouse – in particular when coming off court and spending time in the Clubhouse. This will help make users more comfortable with use of the Clubhouse facilities.

At busy times, e.g. when the Bar is open, the sliding doors will be opened when possible to encourage as much through flow of fresh air as possible.

Masks

Whilst these will not be mandatory in the Clubhouse we ask members to consider the use of masks when moving around the Clubhouse, and particularly when the Clubhouse is busy.

Kitchen

The kitchen will remain closed for casual use, only being used on an organised basis when thorough cleaning can be conducted after use e.g. Saturday morning tuck shop, Club events.

Bar

The Bar will be open as displayed on the signage at the Club and on the website.

Bar cleaning protocols will remain in force.

Going forward

All of the above will be reviewed on a 3 week basis and suitably relaxed as and when infection levels in general seem to be modest and heading downwards such that the risk to members and staff is reasonably minimised.

Sanitiser provision and encouragement of masks for coughs/colds etc may remain in the longer term.
